Mon, November 27 :: The Hate - Music Video … Next Week!

Our music video for The Hate is going to be officially released on Monday, December 5. At last!

It’ll actually be available earlier this Thursday, December 1, to our dear Kickstarter backers for an early screening. (psst if you support our Kickstarter fundraiser between now and next Monday, we’ll be sure to send you the password for the video before then as well.)

In the meantime, throughout this week, we’ll be posting (on the Exit Clov Facebook page) some wacky pics and video clips taken during the making of the video.

Tuesday, November 22 :: Exit Clov <3’s Our Kickstarter Backers

Phew! Barely a week into our fundraiser, and it’s been a really fun whirlwind of gratefulness and happiness that people are so willing to help us finish this album!

We’ve posted our first update on our Kickstarter main page: Update #1: 5 Truly Thankful Clov Turkeys.

For those who haven’t been following our daily postings on Facebook and Twitter, we reached our target goal of $3,000 in a matter of 5 days! This means the project is guaranteed to be funded now, yay. But of course, we didn’t want to just twiddle our thumbs while the last 30 days of the campaign passed us by… instead we’re going to step up the challenge and double our goal to $6,000. This way we will able to press CD’s of the new album and also shoot a music video for a song that our special Kickstarter backers will get to vote on!!

Tuesday, Nov. 15 :: Exit Clov Kickstarter!!!

Hello, hello!

So it’s finally live……. our Kickstarter fundraising video!!! Check out our 5min homemade video clip, where we make our case for why you should spare a percentage of your holiday shopping budget this year to Exit Clov. We promise not to squander it away! Every penny will go into the making of our new record. And, in fact, you’ll be getting something back for your money.

If you’re not familiar with Kickstarter, it’s an innovative website designed to help artists fund their creative art projects … in our case, a new full-length record. Each donation amount corresponds with a wonderfully handsome “reward” that you will receive from the band, as a token of our infinite gratitude (see the righthand column for our rewards list).

It’s simple and fun! Here’s how it works:

1. Watch our video!
2. If you like what you see(!), decide how much you’d like to donate.
3. Enter your credit card info when prompted. The amount will be pending on your credit card until the END of the 35 days of fundraising (Dec. 20). At that point:

– If we’ve reached our goal of $3,000 in donations, your credit card will be charged the amount you pledged to donate.
– If we don’t reach our goal :(*** , our fundraising opportunity is over, and we go back home with our tails between our legs.

Monday, October 4 :: Exit Clov in DC!

Save the date!! Exit Clov will be in town for a lil return visit to Washington, DC. It’s Saturday, October 22, at Iota. We’ll be playing with The Riverbreaks.

We’ll have new tunes to unveil! so get your ears ready : )

July 28, 2011 :: Exit Clov at The Living Room NYC

We’ll be back to play live at The Living Room in New York on Friday Aug. 12. We’ve never played this space before, but we hear nice things about it. Come on out to visit with us and hear some new tunes that we just might pull out of our hats.

We’ll be playing with our good friends Milly Beau, which features our very own dear Aaron.
